Overview Awards

This carriage house began as piece of waterfront property on Lake Norman.  The owners of the property live right across the street and had nothing more than a simple dock there for their boats.  They decided to pursue options on how to maximize this highly desirable piece of land.

They decided to build a structure that offered multiple bedrooms and bathrooms for themselves and guests, garage and driveway space to counter the limited parking that was available at their current home, and to design a modern lake front building that was unique in its function and aesthetics.

In this carriage house, the downstairs garage offers plenty of room for boats and vehicles, while the upstairs includes a full kitchen equipped with top of the line appliances, dining room, living room, bedrooms and bathrooms fitted for family and friends.  A hidden murphy bed in the living room and bedroom above the boat dock provide additional sleeping space when big groups come to town.
