Overview Awards

The original bathroom was a very ordinary builder bath from the 90’s.  The design objective was to create a space that rivaled most new, custom construction today.  The bath was gutted to the studs and built back step by step with new cabinetry, quartz countertops, tile, plumbing fixtures, and a free standing tub.  12” x 24” marble tiles with striations of lilac, gray and white in a herringbone pattern were used on the floor and in a brick pattern on the shower walls.  The shower floor was done in a penny size white glazed tile, and the countertops were quartz in white.  The cabinets were done in a soft white with polished nickel plumbing fixtures.  The walls and ceilings were painted a soft lavender to compliment the new tile on the floor and in the shower, and the water closet was papered in a lavender lattice pattern.  Recessed can lighting was added, along with decorative sconces at the vanity.
