Overview Awards

The goal of this project was to transform this traditional kitchen into a sleek and chic modern masterpiece.  The original u-shaped kitchen was difficult to maneuver and very traditional in design.  The new kitchen with asymmetrical island provides better traffic flow, conveniently placed work stations and upgraded appliances.  The contemporary interior design package of clean cabinet lines, gray on gray color palate, mix of countertop and backsplash materials, and decorative lighting create a contemporary environment that fits the homeowners’ tastes.

In the original owner's bathroom, the vanities bent around the living room fireplace, the shower was open above, which allowed all the steam to escape, and the tub was over-scaled, imposing and unused.  In the new space, a large shower and linen cabinet flush out the wall around the fireplace.  Symmetrical vanities flank the freestanding tub.  The interior design finishes speak to the homeowners’ desire for a more contemporary design and color palate.  The sculptural chandelier and stained glass window finish things off and serve as pieces of art.
