At this home, the existing rear deck was in need of repair. There was poor access from the house to the deck, and it got very hot in summer conditions. As a result, it went totally unused.
The new terrace / screened in porch can be easily accessed from the family’s breakfast room. The terrace includes a built-in grill, planter boxes and 2 water features to mask nearby road noise. The covered screened in porch provides the shade. It is open on 3 sides and home to a kitchenette with fridge and sink for easy entertaining, dining table, comfy couches and TV. Both spaces are a true extension of the home and can be enjoyed with each new season!
