Historic Renovations

Andrew Roby understands that the historic architecture of your home is priceless.  During the renovation process, we will work closely with you, the architect and designer to preserve and protect the historical details that give your home its charm.  Andrew Roby recently renovated and restored the VanLandingham Estate in Plaza Midwood and the Dr. George E. Davis House at Johnson C. Smith University.  In addition, Andrew Roby has renovated the following historic landmarks: Latta Place (built in 1800); John Dinkins House and Lodge (built in 1800); Rosedale Plantation (built in 1815); White Homestead (built in 1831); Chairman Blake House (built in 1861); Spring’s Guest House at The Founders House (built in 1870); and the John Price Carr House (built in 1904). The Chairman Blake House in Davidson received the Best in Show award from the Remodelers’ Council, and Spring’s Guest House at The Founders House in Fort Mill was recognized by the North Carolina chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
